North Carolina native Kelin Perry is an encaustic and installation artist now living in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Southern California School of Architecture. Perry’s art threads between a personal perspective and her world view. Her work is a meditation on memories and how they transform over time. It is about the tension between the chaotic and inherent messiness of life and the peace and acceptance that can be found with the passage of time. On a larger level, Perry’s work is about the tension between man and nature, the havoc we’ve wreaked and also the beauty and hope that somehow persists.
